Please Join Us on Saturday, June 17, from 10:00-Noon for an Open House of the Coraopolis Train Station!
We’ve been busy throughout the winter and spring, making ongoing structural improvements and getting the Coraopolis Train Station ready for the next phase of rehabilitation and renovation!
We invite the community to stop by on Saturday, June 17, as we will provide tours and walk-throughs, and share a bit more about the work to come. Project leaders and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the history, the architecture, the preservation, and the future use of this historic building. We hope you can make it!
The Coraopolis Train Station Project is a non-profit initiative of the Coraopolis Community Development Foundation. When the Train Station reopens as a café and community center in late 2018, all proceeds will go to support the work of the CCDF, which includes emergency support for families in crisis, for the Coraopolis Food Bank, Community Garden house and more.
All donations are tax deductible
On behalf of those who have been working so hard, and those whom the project will benefit, I hope to see you there!
Shawn Reed, CCDF Board President & Train Station Project Chairman
PS. If you can’t make it on June 17, but would still let to see the work, please contact us and we’ll arrange for a private tour.
